But I don't currently see anything online to indicate such plans. This is why I'm thinking the Impero is possibly going to be two different packages. If they were going to do that, they'd want the English-speaking warship videogame community to know about it, and that's us. What's the point of a marketing collaboration in a market they're making no effort to reach?Įdit: Maybe it's a run up to announcing an English version of Azur Lane, I guess. Furthermore, even if I could read Chinese (or didn't mind playing a game I can't read) it's also region-locked, so I'd need to use an unofficial workaround just to play it on this side of the Pacific. Turns out I didn't like it, but at least it was available to me when my curiosity was piqued, so the collaboration was technically successful.Īzur Lane, on the other hand, from what I can tell after a quick Google search, has no English version and no announced plans for a future English version. When their last collaboration made me curious what the hell High School Fleet was, I was able to find an English website streaming episodes of the show with English subtitles. I don't see much point in them localizing the event for NA or EU, actually, because Azur Lane itself has absolutely no official presence outside of east Asia. But I think there will be a matter of time that both NA, EU & other servers will get the same event after that. We in SEA region tend to get the anime goodies a little earlier than the rest.
